Ta-hoe

I want to go there.  I think Northern California and Lake Tahoe areas are so beautiful and I can never fully get the idea of living there some day out of my head.  This October will be one year since I was out there visiting family, and it was such a fun trip.  My cousin Nate (Aunt Libby's son) and his family: Dawn (mom), Juniper (daughter) and Zeraphin (son) live out there.

They were kind enough to let us stay with them.  We did some fun stuff like apple picking, visiting a wine vineyard, and eating some delicious food.  My mom and I took a couple of day trips out towards Tahoe. 

We stopped in Truckee...which is one of the coolest little towns EVER!  Mikey's dad used to live there for a couple of years when he was younger which is why we decided to stop, and I am so glad we did.  It was just so clean, people were healthy and kind, fun shops and dogs everywhere!  All around the town were little walking/hiking trails and unbelievable scenic overlooks.  It seems like another world. 

Anyway, we had a blast and I WANT TO GO BACK.  I might be using up some of my vacation days in the next few weeks.  :)
